SALT LAKE CITY — The Utes are going on a road trip. The nation's 21st-ranked team will meet up with Fresno State at Bulldog Stadium Saturday to end its nonconference slate.
Last year, the Bulldogs came to Utah and left with a 59-27 loss. The Utes racked up seven sacks, and quarterback Travis Wilson threw five touchdown passes.
Here are three things to note heading into Saturday's game.
Waller vs. Utah's defense
The matchup between Bulldogs' senior running back Marteze Waller and the Utes' defense will be crucial. Waller ran 245 yards in the season's first two weeks and scored his first career receiving touchdown last week against Ole Miss.
