SPOKANE, Wash. – Sophomore Eliza Katoa registered a career-high 17 kills, but it was not enough as the Utah Utes (4-2) fell to the Wyoming Cowgirls (4-1) in match four of the Gonzaga Invitational Saturday afternoon at Martin Centre in Spokane, Wash.
Utah overcame a 1-0 deficit to tie the match 1-1 after winning set two, 25-22, but the Cowgirls took sets two and three, 25-19 and 25-23, respectively, to earn the victory in four sets.
