SEATTLE – It was a disappointing weekend for the Utes as they fall to 1-3 in Pac-12 Conference play and 10-6 on the season. The #65 Washington Huskies defeated the No. 51 Utah Utes 4-0 at Bill Quillian Stadium today.
The Huskies opened up the match with a 1-0 lead after clinching the doubles point. No. 37 Nour Abbes and Miki Kobayahsi defeated sophomore Margo Pletcher and freshmen Brianna Turley 6-0. Tami Grende and Kenadi Hance clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 victory over freshmen Taylor Calton and junior Luisa Gerstner Da Rosa.
