STANFORD, Calif. – The Utah women’s tennis team came up short in a 7-0 decision to Stanford on Saturday at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
"It was a tough weekend against great competition. Stanford with Zhao in the line up is a national title contender, I'm very proud of Margo and Brianna in doubles." said head coach Mat Iandolo.
The doubles matches started off with a victory for #47 Krista Hardebeck and Caroline Lampl of Stanford over Ute freshman Taylor Calton and junior Luisa Gerstner Da Rosa, 6-0.
The point was clinched with Kimberly Yee and Carol Zhao defeating senior Sarah Richter and sophomore Alexia Petrovic, 6-2.
