LOS ANGELES - Utah soccer played its final road game of the season on Sunday, falling at UCLA, 1-0.
A bad clearance by the Ute defense in the 67th minute led to a Kodi Lavursky tap-in for the deciding goal.
“We played well in the first half and continued to battle,” head coach Rich Manning said. “I’m proud of the team for showing tremendous grit and character in both games. I thought we defended with great intensity, moved the ball around well and created a bunch of opportunities. I’m extremely pleased with the fighting spirit shown by this team.
