In her first collegiate meet, Utah’s Sabrina Schwab won the floor exercise with a 9.90 in Utah’s win over BYU. Schwab, who earlier scored a 9.75 on bars, was a last-minute addition to the floor lineup. Initially scheduled to compete as an exhibition performer, she was told during the touch warm-up that she was in the lineup.
Schwab is just the second Utah gymnast ever to win Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors and the first since 2013.
