PROVO, Utah – Junior wing Paige Crozon and redshirt sophomore forward Emily Potter each turned in double-doubles for the Utes, but the University of Utah women’s basketball team could not avoid a 73-59 Deseret First Duel loss to Brigham Young University on Saturday in the Marriott Center.
Utah (5-3) was led throughout by Crozon and Potter, who both posted double-doubles and combined for 34 points on 55% shooting (11-20), 28 rebounds and four assists.
Potter poured in a team-high 24 points and hauled in a game-high 17 rebounds to register her second straight double-double, which was her fourth this season and the eighth of her career.
