SALT LAKE CITY – Junior wing Paige Crozon and senior point guard Danielle Rodriguez both turned in double-doubles as the University of Utah women’s basketball team cruised to a 97-56 victory over CSUN on Thursday night in the Huntsman Center.
This was the largest win for the program since a 55-point home victory (91-36) over Southern Oregon on Dec. 20, 2010. It was also the most points the Utes have scored in a regulation game since a 97-47 win at Air Force on Jan. 20, 2005.
Utah (4-2) improved to 4-0 at home this season by outscoring CSUN 23-4 in fast break points and the Utes enjoyed a 19-2 edge in second-chance points over the Matadors.
