LOGAN, Utah - An old-fashioned 3-point play by senior point guard Danielle Rodriguez with 10 seconds remaining proved to be the difference as the University of Utah women’s basketball team edged Utah State 64-61 on Tuesday at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
With the game tied for the 13th time at 61 all, Utah (7-3) picked up its first true road win of season when Rodriguez wrestled an offensive rebound from the Aggies along the baseline and was fouled while hitting a jumper for an old-fashioned 3-point play before converting the free throw to set the final margin.
