SALT LAKE CITY – Four Utes registered double-figures in points, including a career-high tying 20 points from sophomore wing Malia Nawahine, as the University of Utah women’s basketball team completed the season sweep of California with a 72-66 victory on Friday in the Huntsman Center.
Utah (15-11, 7-8 Pac-12) improved to 11-4 at home this season after shooting 52.9% (27-51) from the floor to go with a 41.7% (5-12) mark from 3-point territory. The Utes also earned a 33-26 rebounding edge over the Golden Bears. Utah has out-rebounded its foes in 19 of 26 contests this season.
