NORTH SALT LAKE — University of Utah wide receiver Kenric Young was cited with assaulting an individual at a pool party on Saturday, according to police.
At approximately 8:40 p.m. Saturday, police were called to an apartment complex at 325 S. Orchard Drive in North Salt Lake for a fight. The fight broke out at a pool party when Young, 20, allegedly punched another individual at the party in the face several times.
A witness at the party, who asked to remain anonymous in fear of retaliation, said the fight started after a neighbor asked Young to pull his pants up because “there were women and children present.
