The portal taketh and the portal giveth, and that’s been the case for the Utes in this off season. Early on Tuesday it was reported that the Utes presumed No. 1 wide receiver Bryan Thompson has enter the transfer portal. A blow that is disappointing to Utah fans everywhere, because the talent that Thompson has yet to be fully realized by the program, and that is largely due to injury issues over his career. The former four star recruit for the Utes had 33 receptions for 756 yards with four touchdowns in his Utah career. Thompson had the third highest receiving total after Kuithe and Covey this past season.
