SALT LAKE CITY — Following a close loss to Stanford Saturday, the University of Utah dropped in the national rankings.
Utah dropped to No. 23 in the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll, dropping five places from No. 18 the previous week. The Associated Press Top 25 Poll will be released at noon.
The Utes are one of five teams from the Pac-12 ranked this week, with Washington moving up to No. 4 following an Oklahoma loss over the weekend. Behind the Huskies is No. 9 Washington State, No. 13 USC, No. 23 Utah and No. 25 Stanford.
