SALT LAKE CITY — Nearly in single digits, only 10 days remain until the Utes step on the field against in-state Southern Utah University. With that, KSL.com takes a look at two players who will be wearing the No. 10 this season, Jason Thompson and Riley Richmond.
Jason Thompson, SR, defensive back
After playing a season at Wyoming, Jason Thompson transferred to Utah when his former head coach Dave Christensen became the Utes’ offensive coordinator. After Christensen left for a position with Texas A&M, however, Thompson decided to stay with Utah. He was originally a quarterback but has since changed positions to become a safety, where he currently sits as a backup to Chase Hansen, another former quarterback.
