LAS VEGAS — It was supposed to be a year where the Holy War was off, quenched during a two-year stalemate in Utah's most contentious rivalry between BYU and Utah.
But the game will go on, with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m. MST Saturday in the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl (ABC; KSL 1160 AM/102.7 FM).
The players are glad it's happening.
"It's a blessing to play another game, regardless who the opponent is. It doesn't matter who we play; we're going to prepare the same way," Utah wide receiver Kenneth Scott said during Friday's pregame media conference.
