Utah's Zack Moss suffers knee injury, will miss remainder of season

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah’s starting running back Zack Moss is out for the remainder of the season after suffering a season-ending injury this week.

Moss, a junior from Florida, suffered a knee injury this week and will miss the remainder of the season, according to multiple sources. He tweeted Thursday night: “So many emotions. So many tears. I’m coming back stronger. God’s plan.”

XM Satellite radio host Sean O’Connell tweeted Thursday that Moss is expected to have surgery on his knee this week; however, nothing has been confirmed by the university.

The Moss injury comes just a few days after Utah’s starting quarterback Tyler Huntley suffered a season-ending injury to non-throwing arm in their game against Arizona State Saturday.
