SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A Utah State football player has been suspended after he was charged with selling drugs.
Court records show 24-year-old Christopher Copier was charged Monday with six counts of possession of drugs with the intent to sale.
Logan Police Capt. Tyson Budge said Copier sold drugs to undercover agents in recent months. On Friday, officers arrested him after finding marijuana and 46 ecstasy pills in his car. Budge said officers found more marijuana, Xanex pills, mushrooms, a gun and $1,600 in cash at Copier's residence.
The AP sought comment on the charges from Copier, but could not verify whether he had a listed telephone number or an attorney.
