The Utes returned to the Florida pipeline with 2022 running back Jaylon Glover, who gave the Utes his verbal commitment on Friday afternoon. The three-star rated (247Sports) Glover, a 5-7, 195-pound bowling ball from Lake Gibson High School, rushed for 4,023 yards and 54 touchdowns and has averaged 130 yards per game.
Glover picked the Utes over Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina. Reports were that Florida was the front runner for quite a long time, and for the Utes to secure a Florida kid over the Gators and FSU is an excellent recruiting win.
Glover joins four-star QB Nate Johnson, four-star defensive lineman Aisea Moa, three-star WR Adarrius Harshaw, three-star QB Brandon Rose, three-star WT Zion Steptoe, and three-star rated safety Jeffrey Ugo.
