Utah All-America gymnast Maddy Stover has been invited by the NCAA to attend the Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana.
According to the NCAA, the annual forum "brings together 200 student-athletes to learn and explore potential careers in sports, with the primary focus on college athletics."
During the four-day event, student-athletes receive assistance in charting their career paths, network and learn from current athletics professionals.
Stover, a junior co-captain for Utah's Pac-12 Championship team, who is majoring in communications, was one of 10 Pac-12 student-athletes invited by the NCAA to attend the forum. Her Utah career highlights include; being a 2nd-team All-American on beam (regular season), 1st-team All-Pac-12 Conference on beam, Leadoff performer for Utah's 2015 NCAA runner-up team, 6 career victories (all on beam), has hit 29-32 career routines, 2017 Utah gymnastics co-captain, Co-president of Utah's student-athlete Crimson Council and Two-time NACGC Scholar All-American.
