Does two running backs from the same junior college within three years constitute a pipeline?
Even if it doesn’t, previous results suggest the Utes should anticipate big things when American River College back Armand Shyne arrives in 2017. Hailing from the same spot as all-conference rusher Devontae Booker, Shyne is hoping for a similar splash.
The junior college back announced his commitment to Utah on Friday morning via Twitter, and confirmed it to the Tribune.
Said Shyne: "I felt like, 'Why wait?' I knew that's where I wanted to go."
Shyne is an Oakland native who starred at Skyline High, rushing for over 1,800 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior.
