Utah football announced the signing today of San Marcos HS (San Marcos, Calif.) athlete Terrell Burgess. Burgess could play wide receiver or cornerback, and the 6-0, 180 athlete will likely start out on defense for the Utes. Utah has been recruiting speed at the skill positions lately, and Burgess certainly fits the bill. He reminds me a little of current Ute Cory Butler-Byrd. The three-star athlete had offers from multiple Pac-12 schools, including Arizona, Cal, Oregon State, and Washington State. Most thought he was headed to either Arizona or Cal. His primary recruiter was Utah cornerbacks coach Sharrieff Shah.
