The car itself was used, bought off former Utah kicker Nick Marsh three years ago.
"Old and beat up, probably worth about $1500," Hackett said. "So if they drop it off, it would be nice, but if they don't, it's not the end of the world."
Asiata was just as eager to see the car returned, hopefully with his iPad, Beats headphones and school textbooks intact.
"That stuff is probably worth more than the car," he quipped.
Hackett has a reputation as a quote machine, and didn't disappoint as several media asked about the incident in the afternoon after a football conditioning drill.
