Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham confirmed Sunday that two players, freshman running back Marcel Brooks-Brown and sophomore tight end Lo Falemaka, suffered gunshot wounds to the torso late Saturday evening at a party in Salt Lake City.
ESPN's Ted Miller posted statements from the school and police, including Whittingham's remarks about how both players are expected to make a full recovery:

This is the second instance in which Falemaka was involved in a dangerous altercation.
