Utah's Jakob Poeltl was a dominate force this past week against the LA schools, thus he was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week. Poeltl has been named the Player of the Week four times this season, the most of anybody in the Pac-12, and puts his squarely in the race to win Pac-12 Player of the Year. Just a couple of weeks ago, especially after the Oregon debacle up in Oregon, it was very shaky whether he'd have a chance, now he may be a front runner. If he can keep up his production these next three games, he may clinch the award, and maybe something better for his team.
