The only thing Jojo Zamora ever sought in his basketball career is a firm, stable home in a Division I program.
He transferred high schools to make it happen. He went to prep school to make it happen. After both those options failed, he went to Yuba College, where he finally got the help he needed. And a year later, he got a Division I offer that he accepted virtually on the spot.
Today, Zamora can't be more excited: He's going to be a Ute.
"Everything about it — the coaching staff, the practices, the facilities, the team — everything was amazing," he said.
