Parrish was hired by new head coach Eran Ganot, who is a longtime Saint Mary's assistant. Parrish previously sent SLCC products to play at Hawaii, and said in a university-issued statement he was "unbelievably excited" to join the program.
"His time as a highly successful head coach speaks for itself and, most recently, he was a major part of one of the great stories at the Division I level in the growth of the University of Utah basketball program," Ganot said of Parrish in the news release. "His experience in building and maintaining highly successful programs will be a true asset moving forward.
