The Runnin' Utes have granted a release to freshman guard Brandon Miller, who will transfer from the program.
Miller was a high-scoring sharpshooter at Brighton High, but played two games coming off his LDS Mission for Utah this season. He played a total of three minutes and had yet to score. He mostly played a scout role while suiting up for the Utes.
Larry Krystkowiak released a statement through a school news release indicating no hard feelings.
"We wish Brandon nothing but the very best in his future endeavors," Krystkowiak said. "He is a fantastic young man and was a committed teammate during his time here at Utah.
