"The facilities are amazing — I wasn't expecting that — but I can see how you would want to hang out there all the time," he said. "I like their program, their coaches. The people are great there. I had fun."
McLaughlin brings a lot to the table: He averaged 23 points, five rebounds and four assists for 18-7 Peninsula last year. Various rankings have him anywhere between 70 and 79 nationally. While he gets knocked for not having elite athleticism, his coach says he has a 39-inch vertical.
Johnson thinks his stats are only a part of McLaughlin's story.
