SALT LAKE CITY- The University of Utah track and field team prepares to compete at two separate meets this weekend, highlighted by the women’s distance runners heading to Seattle, Washington to compete at the Husky Classic. The meet is slated to begin this Friday at 4 p.m. PT at the Dempsey Indoor Track with the women’s 200-meter dash. Meanwhile, the Utah sprinters, jumpers and a few middle distance runners will compete at the Don Kirby Elite in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
“This is a huge weekend as we go into the last true regular season meets before we head to the MPSF meet,” Utah head coach Kyle Kepler said.
