BOISE, Idaho- Capturing the top three spots in the 3,000-meter run as the highlight of the day, Utah track and field team wrapped up the first day of action at the Jackson’s Invitational in Boise, Idaho, Friday night.
“We had a solid first day,” Utah head coach Kyle Kepler said. “We won some events, recorded some personal bests, and just had a good all-around effort up and down the lineup. We did a really good job of executing races and events today. We will come back tomorrow and hopefully do the same thing.”
The highlight of the day came in the 3,000-meter run, where the Utes captured the first three spots and five of the top 10.
