NAMPA, Idaho- Getting the 2015-16 indoor season underway, the Utah women’s track and field team posted impressive performances at the Jackson’s Open with four event titles, including a 1-2-3 sweep in the 400 meters.
“We had a good day,” Utah assistant coach Pete Herber said. “All of our kids competed really hard, which was our main focus today. Our performances are not close to where we will be later in the year, but for where we are in our training I couldn’t be happier.”
In the 400, the Utes demonstrated the strength of their sprinters capturing the top three spots.
