La Cueva HS, Albuquerque, NM three-star tight end Connor O’Toole signed with the Utah Utes. It is not often that Utah recruits the state of New Mexico, but O’Toole is a big time player. He had options to play for teams in any of the Power 5 conferences. This race came down to Utah and Baylor Bears with Utah making the late push to secure O’Toole’s signature.
O’Toole has the frame at 6-3, 205 pounds to bulk into a dangerous receiving tight end. He could also play as a big receiver. He catches the ball really well and has excellent moves in space.
