Class of 2016 three-star running back Devontae Henry-Cole, out of Fort Lauderdale’s St. Thomas Aquinas High School, has committed to the Utah Utes. Ryan Bartow of 247 Sports reported Henry-Cole’s decision.
Of strong size for his position at 5-foot-9, 190 pounds, Henry-Cole is incredibly fast and runs the 40 yard dash in 4.4 seconds.
In his junior season, he averaged 13.7 yards per carry. He won’t average that much on the collegiate level, but it is still a testament to his talent.
Prior to committing to Utah, Henry-Cole had also received offers from Cincinnati, Wake Forest, FIU, Pittsburgh, New Mexico, Southern Miss, Jacksonville State, FAU, Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State.
