The final signing for the Utah Utes in the Early Signing Period was Eleanor Roosevelt HS, Corona, Calif. three-star athlete Kenzel Lawler. Lawler will likely end up on the defensive side of the ball for the Utes at cornerback. Utah beat out a few other Pac-12 teams for Lawler. Prior to his senior season, Lawler played quarterback before making the move to defensive back as a senior. I really like defensive backs who have experience at the quarterback position because I think it helps them better understand what offensives are trying to do and how to stop them.
