FEDERAL WAY, Wash.- The University of Utah men’s swimming team improved to fifth place with 139 points after day two at the Pac-12 Championships. Highlights from day two include Bence Kiraly finishing fourth in the 500 free and Paul Unger breaking the school record in the 100 back.
Utah jumped ahead of Arizona State (128) after the second day of races while Stanford is currently in the lead with 275 points. USC is in second (229) with Arizona (220) and California (198) following the Cardinal.
“We had some really good swims today,” said Utah head coach Joe Dykstra.
