FEDERAL WAY, Wash.- The University of Utah women’s swimming and diving team finished sixth overall, tallying 538.5 points. Junior Stina Colleou finished strong for the Utes with a fourth-place finish in the 200 breast while Megan Kawaguchi set a new school mark in the 200 back.
Utah topped three other Pac-12 schools. Washington State (477), ASU (472.5) and Oregon State (291). USC came away with the title with 1,481 points. Stanford took second (1,344) with Cal (1,306), Arizona (1,125) and UCLA (995) following.
“We had a great final session tonight and I'm very proud of the whole team for not just tonight but for fighting through this whole season,” said Utah head coach Joe Dykstra.
