SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah men's and women's swimming and diving squads have been selected as Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
The Utah men's team had a 3.18 grade point average during the spring 2016 semester, the third-best GPA in the Pac-12 and one of the top 50 nationally. Stanford topped the Pac-12 with a 3.31 team GPA.
The Utah women had a 3.36 GPA during the spring semester, fourth in the Pac-12. This is the seventh-straight semester that the Utes have earned a team academic award. Cal led the way for Pac-12 schools with a 3.
