Palm Springs, Calif. - Utah Softball capped another winning weekend with a 10-4 win over New Mexico State this afternoon. The Utes went 4-2 at the Mary Nutter Classic with the only setbacks against No. 12 Oklahoma and No. 1 Florida.
Hailey Hilburn picked up the win and the freshman improved to 3-0 on the season. She allowed one run on five hits in three innings of relief.
The Utes rapped three-straight singles with two outs in the first to take a 1-0 lead. Kristen Stewart socked one up the middle to bring home Delilah Pacheco.
