Palm Springs, Calif. – Utah Softball won its second-straight game at the Mary Nutter Classic this evening, 10-5 over Long Beach State. The Utes got a grand slam from Kay Kay Fronda plus key hits from Kristen Stewart and Bella Secaira in the win.
Katie Donovan won her fifth-straight start, going six innings. Her only blemish was a allowing a three-run home run. The sophomore struck out three batters.
After a scoreless first two innings, Delilah Pacheco singled with one out in the third. She moved to second on a wild pitch and would then score on a fielding error by LBSU.
