STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. - Endre Bjertness won the men's giant slalom and the Utah ski team had five total podium finishes as the Utes took over the team lead at the Colorado Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 23.
The victory was the first career win for Bjertness, and his third career podium finish. He had the fastest run of the day on his first run. Joergen Brath finished eighth while Dominic Demschar placed ninth. Ty Sprock followed in 15th with Martin Grasic finishing 22nd.
"We had a great day for the team today, both on the alpine and Nordic side," Bjertness said.
