Runnin’ Utes blow past Cal 74-44

It seems that a little bit of extra rest can go a long ways for the Utes, as they blew the doors off of the Cal Bears Thursday night 74-44. While Utah had a sizeable lead for much of the first half, they really blew things open in the last six minutes of the first half, when the defense really came alive, and it was a lay up line at the other end of the floor. It was the most aggressive I’ve seen Utah’s defense, as they were jumping passing lanes, rotating and helping each other, and really playing as fast as I’ve seen them play in a long time.
