Seated at No. 4 in the national rankings, the University of Utah gymnastics team will head to the NCAA Fayetteville Regional in Arkansas as its top seed on Saturday, April 1.
The Red Rocks will compete against No. 9 Denver, No. 16 California, No. 21 Auburn, Arkansas and Central Michigan, and the two teams with the highest scores will move on to the NCAA National Championships in St. Louis, Mo. on April 14-15.
Looking ahead to this weekend’s meet, co-head coach Megan Marsden’s main focus for the team is to stay on its mission of hitting 24-of-24 routines.
