While USC's Leonard Williams was telling the New York press he hoped his first sack came against New England's Tom Brady, Danny Shelton was busy getting started moments after getting drafted by the Cleveland Browns at No. 12.
The 340-pound defensive tackle out of Washington bull rushed NFL commissioner Roger Gooddell, lifting him up in the air in perhaps the most expressive embrace of the first round of the NFL draft in Chicago on Thursday night.
It was symbolic if only for the way the Pac-12's top prospects shook up the NFL to start the draft, as it set a conference record for most picks in the first round with a whopping nine, tying the ACC for most of any conference this year.
