M. Golf. Utah Golf Places Fifth at PING Cougar Classic

Final Results

PROVO, Utah – The Utah men’s golf team finished in fifth place at the PING Cougar Classic on Tuesday after carding a final round 5-over par (293). Utah ended the two-day event with a score of 1-over par (277-295-293=865) at the Riverside Country Club in Provo, Utah.

Senior Brandon Kida recorded the best finish of his career, finishing in a tie for third-place after shooting 4-under par (68) in the final round. Kida, who now has three career top-five finishes, ended the tournament with a score of 9-under par (67-72-68=207).

Finishing in a tie for 28^th-place, senior Jonathon Thomas and junior Gentry Hicks recorded two-day scores of 3-over par (219).
