-Final Round Results

TUSCON, Ariz. – The Utah men’s golf team finished 10th at the Arizona Intercollegiate after shooting a final round 17-over par (301) at Sewailo Golf Club on Saturday. Utah finished the 54-hole tournament at 44-over par (298-297-301=896).

Senior Jose Pelayo carded a second-round score of 5-over par (76) and a final-round score of 2-over par (73) to finish in a tie for 23rd-place. Pelayo finished the event at an 8-over par (72-76-73=221) to lead the Utes.

Along with Pelayo, two other Utah golfers placed among the top-50 with Gentry Hicks shooting a final-round score of 4-over par (75) to finish in a tie for 38th-place at 11-over par (74-75-75=224), and senior Brandon Kida recording a final-round score of 3-over par (74) to finish in a tie for 44th-place to complete the event at 12-over par (77-74-74=225).
