SALT LAKE CITY — Junior center Jeremy Olsen has been placed on a medical scholarship as a result of an injury keeping him from competitive play, according to Utah Athletics.
Head coach Larry Krystkowiak said Olsen will continue to have a role with the team, but the exact role has not been determined at this time.
“It’s difficult to have my career cut short due to injury, but playing basketball for Utah has been on of the most amazing times of my life,” Olsen said in a prepared statement. “I have had so many great experiences with my teammates that I will cherish.
