The Barton Brothers both got drafted this weekend, with Cody going to Seattle and Jackson going to Indy. Jackson was the last Ute drafted this weekend, bringing the total up to 5 former Utes getting their named called. Jackson was the 240th overall pick in the draft.
Jackson earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors this past season, and he played in 53 games during his time on the Hill, appearing on the line in 44 games with 29 starts.
Jackson, like his brother, are definitions of hometown heroes. He came out of Brighton High School as a four-star recruit, he played in all 13 games as a redshirt freshman in 2015.
