Incoming Utah freshman gymnast MyKayla Skinner took a big step towards her dream of competing for the United States Women's Artistic Gymnastics National Team at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil after she placed fourth in the all-around at the first day of the women's U.S. Olympic Trials in San Jose, Calif. last night. She posted an all-around score of 59.450. World champion Simone Biles took first place with a score of 61.850. The U.S. women's gymnastic team will comprise five gymnasts.
