The Utah Utes landed their third new recruit for the 2016 recruiting cycle, 6′-5″ guard Devon Daniels of Prolific Prep (CA), via Michigan. Daniels reportedly picked the Utes over DePaul.
The addition of Daniels makes the third player Utah has snared in the last two weeks or so, as they also nabbed top 100 prospect Jayce Johnson and junior college guard Jojo Zamora.
Daniels has good size for the off-guard position, and a solid overall skill set. He’s a guy that will likely need a year or two to develop, and then can be a player who makes his presence known in both backcourt slots.
