HOOPVILLE — Jimmer Fredette’s career was supposed to be over after falling out of favor with four NBA teams.
Not so fast, he said this weekend.
Fredette’s most recent accolades, as well as a massive upset in local college lacrosse and a game-ending brawl in Division III basketball, are part of this weekend’s Great Clips of the Week.
Former BYU star Jimmer Fredette is still getting buckets in China.
Fredette, who signed with Yao Ming’s Shanghai Sharks after his four-team NBA career, scored 73 points Sunday night in the Sharks’ double-overtime loss to the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association.
